Mission Statement
St Mary’s Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church strives to fulfill the spiritual needs of its members by providing church and related services in a manner consistent with the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church’s faith, values and tradition. Such services consist of the following: |
| Establishment and maintenance of services for divine worship and religious observance Increasing the understanding of the history, culture, language, tradition, and values of Ethiopia |
Provision of other social services such as: Sunday school and Bible studies for children and adults, Free religious counseling by the Clergy of the Church Marriage, burial rites (Fithat), and baptism/christening services Visiting and comforting the sick, the needy and the bereaved.
